What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When you visit our website, we record:

  • Products you have viewed: we use this information to, for example, show you products that you have recently viewed.
  • Products you have added to your wishlist: we use this information to show you your favorite products and to be able to create relevant email campaigns.

We store information about you for as long as is necessary for each individual purpose and case, and for as long as we are no longer obliged to store the information. For example, we will store information about purchases for 3 years because we are obliged to do so through the Norwegian Accounting Act. This includes your name, email address, billing address and delivery address.

Comments

When visitors enter comments on our website, we will collect data entered in the comment fields, and at the same time register the visitor's IP address and type of browser used in order to prevent spam.

An anonymous text string generated on the basis of your email address (also called a "hash") may be sent to the Gravatar service to verify whether you have an account there. Media

If you upload photos to our website, you should avoid uploading photos that contain information about the location where the photo was taken (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download location data from images on the website.

When filling in our contact form, you will be asked to fill in the following information: first name, last name, email address and description of your enquiry. We retain this information for a certain period of time for use in customer service. We will not use this information for marketing purposes.

Klaviyo

It is possible that we send you information via newsletters and other channels aimed at marketing, based on the preferences you have given on how we can contact you. We accept payments through PayPal and Stripe. When the payment is processed, some of your information will be transferred to PayPal or Stripe, including information necessary to complete or process the payment, such as purchase price and payment information.

We do not collect or store your card details. This information is transferred directly to our third-party actors PayPal and Stripe, and follows their privacy statements. These payments must comply with standards set by PCI-DSS which is led by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint collaborative body that includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, among others. PCI-DSS's guidelines and requirements contribute to a safer and more secure purchase process.

Shipping providers

How long we store information about you

If you leave a comment, the comment and information about the comment will be stored indefinitely. This is so we can recognize follow-up comments and approve them automatically instead of putting them in a queue where they have to be manually approved by an editor.

If you register on our website, personal data that you provide in your user profile is also stored. All users can view, edit and delete their own personal data at any time (except username). Our administrators can also view and edit this information.
